Lions + Tigers

A Seattle-based consulting firm founded by and for mothers

As the Social Media + Community Manager at Lions + Tigers, I worked under the Head of Marketing to create branded content around L+T’s core four values: Community, Impact, Stewardship, and Courage.

My impact, by the numbers:

  • Doubled LinkedIn followers in a single year

  • Social posts with 12% average engagement

  • Newsletters with 45% open rates

Lions + Tigers had two main audiences: potential clients and potential talent

  • Talent: highly qualified women and caretakers with enterprise company experience looking to make the jump from full-time work OR unpaid care to consulting

  • Clients: executive-level women with growing needs looking for a bespoke team of consultants

Unsurprisingly, 43% of you said that the number one thing you'd want to change in the workplace is the culture. 👥

We get it. So many problems at work are tied to culture, from discrimination to workload. 😔 Not only that, but a good culture will set you up to tackle any issue as a strong community.

We like to think of #culture as the foundation you can build off of. That's why culture strategy is a key component of how we set you up for success. 💫

July is Disability Pride Month, a time for people with disabilities to be proud and speak up about what matters to them: inclusion, accessibility, and empowerment. 💜

Lions + Tigers is proud to introduce Diversability® to you, our own community, so that we can all keep accessibility and disability justice in the forefront of our minds as we work together towards the future of work.

Diversability’s mission aims to amplify disability pride, namely visibility, representation, and access. Founded by Tiffany A. Yu, MSc (she/her), who became disabled at age 9 following a car accident, Diversability is a community of nearly 5,000 people working together towards equality for people with disabilities.

Diversability offers both in-person and online community events to connect, share content and ideas, and provide support in a non-judgmental and inclusive environment. As a woman-owned, disability-owned, and Asian American-owned company, Diversability works to demonstrate that disability is, in fact, diverse, and when having conversations about diversity and inclusion, disabled communities must have a place in the discussion.

Inclusion at work is how we got started as a company and will forever be one of the key values in our mission. Accessibility and flexibility for people with disabilities is not only important, but necessary as we drive business forward. 💜

Lions + Tigers' branding is a bold, colorful semi-corporate style. They wanted personal touches with hand-drawn elements to really sell their mission: a diverse, disruptive workplace where life comes first.

These designs were created in Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
